One of the great things about Manhattan is that if you are ever getting tired of the cityscapes, there is always an escape. Between Central Park and the water that surrounds the city, you can be sure that some form of nature is right around the corner. On this day, Christina and I decided to venture around our apartment and found this lovely spot which over looks the East River. Such a great place to go if you ever have to clear your mind or simply just take in the beauty.
Anyways, about the outfit: I have yet to get sick of the pastel trend and frankly, I never think I will. Here I went with a completely muted pallet, focusing on mint green and pale peach accents. It's quite fun to play with pairing pastels! And of course to complete any of my pastel looks are my Pink & Pepper loafers. I cannot get over this lovely nude color.
Hope you all are having a lovely day!

I have been searching for the perfect pair of high-waisted trouser pants for quite sometime now, so when I found these babies I had to wear them straight away. Wearing pants in the summer time is typically unrealistic, however this pair is so lightweight and airy that it is made possible. I paired them with my lovely Leila pumps by Pink and Pepper for a prim and polished look. It's fun to feel fancy sometimes!

Lately these vintage denim shorts have been an ultimate staple in my wardrobe. I typically pair them with a super feminine top to add a bit of softness to the destroyed look. Always trying to make a balance, that's my game! Anyways, I am also quite excited about my new Pink & Pepper loafers in the the cream color way! I have been wearing my black pair to the fullest, so naturally I had to get the other color.

These photos were taken at one of my absolute favorite spots in the city- Washington Square Park! I cannot get over these beautiful wild flowers that completely covered a certain area of the park. Something fun is always happening here, whether it is music or a fun picnic with friends. On this particular day, Justin, Claire and I were simply hanging out on a bench, chatting and people watching. Such a lovely way to spend an NYC day! I wore my favorite gingham circle skirt from American Apparel and paired it with this floral bustier. Oh how I love mixing prints!

A major staple in my closet is definitely a pretty pair of oxfords. It is the perfect touch of boyish prep to any girly outfit, and can be remixed in a million different ways. Summer or winter, I know these babies will always work. I paired them with this super feminine top and over-sized satchel. Loving the pretty tulip detail on this bag from Asian iCandy. If I can fit my camera and current book in a purse then you know it's a winner.
Hope you all are having a lovely day!
