While exploring the Brooklyn flea the other day, I came across an array of amazing polaroid prints by Brooklyn based artist, Matt Schwartz. I immediately fell in love with his beautiful and dreamy prints of nature and ethereal women. Of course I knew I had to share his lovely work with my readers, so here are a few pieces that especially caught my eye. Check out the rest of his work at She Hit Pause Studios. I'm in love.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this early mid-week inspiration and that you are having a lovely day!

Sunshine on a Sunday
29 April 2013
First of all, no I did not cut my hair. But it's fun to pretend sometimes .... I just tuck it into a hat and get to have a new hairstyle for today! Anyway, for about half the day yesterday it was sunny and beautiful, so I brought out my favorite dress from Pepa Loves. Of course by the time I went to the Brooklyn Flea at around four o'clock, the sun was gone and I was FUH-reezing, but at least it got to come out and play for a little bit.
Anyway, hope you all are having a fantastic Monday!

Sweet Spring Dress
28 April 2013
Couldn't be more obsessed with this spring-y dress from my favorite vintage shop, Grey Dog! Spent the day in it yesterday, twirling around and feeling free as can be. My allergies are terrible but I am so glad that the warm weather is here!
Hope you all are having a lovely sunday! It's going to be a lazy one for me.

Feeling Nautical
25 April 2013
Am I a bit too obsessed with overalls? Possibly. I couldn't in a million years pass these babies up though. I thrifted them a while back at one of my favorite thift stores in Texas and have been dying to share them with you all. They are definitely the perfect spring-to-summer transitional piece.
Anyway, I hope you all are having a great week!

Stripes + Dots
23 April 2013
Well if it isn't obvious I am back in NYC where it is definitely still sweater weather. I can't complain though, because I have always been a fan of the cold weather... so I might as well ride it out until summer hits. I paired this striped top with this cute polka dot head scarf for some pattern play. Combined them with the red Modern Vice summer Jetts for a pop of color in my otherwise monochromatic outfit.
Anyway, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far!

Last Bits of Coachella
21 April 2013
Coachella was exactly a week ago, so I suppose now it is about time to wrap up the festival posts (as much as I do not want to). These were a few moments captured with friends just taking it easy at Coachella. No band photos because my camera technically wasn't allowed, so I just had to sneak a few here and there because how could I not, right? I had to keep the festival memories alive! Favorite moments were of course seeing all my favorite bands... like Kurt Vile, Beach House, New Order, Postal Service, Father John Misty, Phoenix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Grimes, and Blur. And of course all the poolside parties and catching up with Cali friends.
Coachella, I loved you and can't wait to come back next year!

Blue Skies
18 April 2013
I have a new obsession... the desert! I believe I was a bit mesmerized with the wide open spaces. Only sand, cacti, and blue skies for miles. Christina and I were headed to the festival and couldn't possible resist taking a pit stop to take some photos in the beautiful desert. Take me back there now, please!
Anyway, I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. Hurry up, Friday!

Coachella look day 2
16 April 2013
Goodness California was SO beautiful! The weather was absolutely perfect, so this is what I wore to the festival day 2. I rocked some pieces from my favorite vintage shop, Grey Dog, and danced the day away to my favorite bands. Day 2 I saw the Violent Femmes, Postal Service, New Order, Phoenix and moree. Can't wait to post my photo diary tomorrow of the actual festival!
Anyway, it's back to work/reality for me, and I am missing those desert days pretty bad right about now! Hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

California, I LOVE YOU
13 April 2013
To say that Coachella day one was an absolute blast would be an understatement. We started the day early in the hot desert heat and didn't end it until the sun was out of sight. Saw some of my favorite bands and danced the night away. Today I can't wait for New Order, Grizzly Bear, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, Violent Femmes and Phoenix. Going to be another great day in the desert!
Stay tuned to my instagram/twitter for all updates. Hope you all are having a great Saturday!

Coachella Day ONE!
12 April 2013
Oh boy, oh boy! It is Coachella day one and I am beyond ready to spend all day in the hot hot California heat. I have not been in this wonderful state for almost two years and I plan to soak up all it's beauty every way that I can. Parties, music, good people all weekend long. I am here with Christina and the lovely folks at Hunter Boots, so who knows what kind of trouble/adventures we will get into. Headed to the venue any moment now and bands on today's agenda are Beach House, Modest Mouse, New Order, The Stone Roses, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, and Purity Ring.
Bring it on, Coachella!

Overalls Obsession
08 April 2013
It's no secret at all that I am quite smitten with overalls. When I first laid eyes on this lovely top by Lily Ashwell I immediately knew that I had to pair it with this little overalls dress. And the best part about this outfit is that no jacket was needed! So very happy about this easy breezy weather.
Hope you all are having a great Monday and fabulous start to your week!
