November Wishlist

27 November 2012

fall

The holidays are officially in full swing, so this month's wish list is of course quite fitting to the season's cheery mood. Complete with holiday dresses and cozy socks, I am reminded of a few reasons why I love this time of year the most.

1.) wool scarves : You can never really have enough of them, especially chunky cable knit snoods.
2.) Menswear-inspired hats: I simply cannot get tired of hats. It always feels as though I need something on my head, and this one is just perfect to pair with my autumn color palette.
3.) Holiday Dresses: This one is perfect for upcoming holiday parties I will be attending in December. I love something glamourous and elegant for these types of occasions
4.) Cozy Socks: As I have mentioned before, I have a socks obsession. I love them in all shapes and sizes, and this pair is no exception!
5.) Cat iphone case: This needs no explanation.
6.) Vintage-inspired Loafers: Oh boy do I love a cute pair of loafers. Add some tassels on them like this pair and I cannot turn them down.
7.) Totes: Living in the city, it is hard to not become a bag lady. I am always in the search of cute totes to carry my groceries and such in.

November Inspiration Board

07 November 2012

I am truly such an Autumn child. I cannot stop looking up Fall/Winter inspiration so I decided to share some of my favorite picks with you all. Sometime before Christmas I totally plan on renting a cabin upstate and having some relaxing days in beautiful nature. In the meantime a snow storm is headed towards NYC, so I am stocking up on all the tea, coffee and cozy knits in the world. Mother Nature sure isn't giving us a break here on the East Coast, but hey. Might as well make the most of the weather that's given to us!

Hope you all are having a fantastic week.

October Wishlist

25 October 2012

October wish

One of my favorite things about Fall is the cute and cozy clothing that comes with it.
Every year I get so excited to bring out my old favorite autumn pieces, as well as add some new additions to my wardrobe. Here are a few pieces that I am just dying to add!

1.) SheInside Sweater: Oversized tribal-inspired sweaters are one of my absolute fall favorites. Pair them with some cute boots and skinnies and you are all set.
2.) Sam Edelman boots : If you have not noticed, boots are a little bit of an obsession of mine. These oxblood darlings need to get in my closet now.
3.) Anorak Fox Mug : This mug is just way too cute. Perfect for my ongoing coffee addiction.
4.) Rag & Bone hat : Perfect is the only word to describe this hat. Must invest in for messy  winter hair days.
7.) Frye camel bag : The color and the size is what really makes this bag a winner. Perfect to match my fall wardrobe
6.)People Tree long socks: And last but not least on my wishlist, are comfy cozy socks! This waffle-knit pair is exactly what my lace-up booties are yearning for.

Shoe Love // Floral + Leopard

20 September 2012

I recieved these lovely wedges from Nine West as a little goodbye to summer gift the other day and I instantly knew what I was going to pair them with. Floral denim! I have been completely into pattern mixing these days (who isnt't?), and one that I have been dying to test out is leopard and floral. I think it is such a fun take on the trend and leopard has become such a classic it is pretty hard to go wrong with the combination. When trying out this trend, stick with a monochromatic floral pattern to avoid a print-mixing mishap.
