I could seriously never get tired of stripes. For every season I feel the need to have my
stripes staple piece, and this sweater is just that. Bold, skinny, or colorful, stripes
are always my go-to thing to wear when I have "nothing to wear". I paired this sweater
with these lovely vintage shorts that my friend/owner of that boutique Grey Dog
that I told you guys about gifted my for my birthday. She is so sweet! I love the little
button detail, and the waist fits me perfectly.

Anyways, hope you all are having a lovely week so far! I certainly have.

The Long & Winding Road

Believe it or not, but this road is literally right outside of my boyfriend's apartment, basically in his backyard. Super convenient for me and blog pictures, super annoying for him because I will
be dragging him out there a lot while I'm visiting, hehe. It is actually a bike trail that winds
throughout the whole town and is gorgeous every step or cycle of the way. It is so nice
being immersed in beautiful nature here and even better that the weather has been so nice.
Too bad the leaves haven't changed colors yet, but that just means that I will have to be
back for another visit when the weather gets even cooler.

By the way, thank you so much for the lovely birthday wishes! You all were so sweet
and kind. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated it.

Birthday

Well today I turned 23 years old! It is so crazy how time flies by so quickly. I can sense
that this is going to be a great year for me, so please excuse me for the quick post,
but I must be off to go celebrate! Ryan has some surprises for me and I will be spending
the day with some good friends.

Tonal Dressing

I am such a fan of tonal dressing. Whether it be an electric blue paired with robins egg,
or red with pink, I just think it is such a fun way to play around with my closet. It's a different
way to color block and there are endless fun possibilities to make it work. Pair a top with a dress and it is turned into a lovely seperates outfit! Find more tunics here at Joe Browns. Anyways, tomorrow Ryan is coming down to visit me here in Texas for the weekend and then we will be
road tripping it back to Fayetteville where he still goes to school/where I went to school.
Will be seeing tons of old friends and I couldn't be more excited! Plus, some time
with my boo is much needed at this point. It's been almost two months! Oh yeah, and
we will be celebrating my birthday on Sunday... 23, yikes!
