Leather & Hearts

Yay! It's about that time of year where bundling up in necessary and layering is a must.
My scarves, hats, and thick socks have been in hiding and are ready to come out and play.
The only thing that hasn't happened here in Dallas, Texas yet is a full change of the leaves.
I am patiently waiting though for those yellows, golds, and reds! Some of the trees
are halfway there, but still not quite there yet. Definitely something I miss about the college
town I used to live in. Anyways, this is my first black leather skirt, and I am really obsessed
with it! I feel like it adds instant chic-ness to just about any outfit. It is already one of my
winter staples.

Autumn's Child

This cape-like sweater is yet another one of my amazing pieces from KOSHKA! They
are seriously such a wonderful indie designer brand that I am totally loving right now.
This was the perfect outfit for my lazy Sunday yesterday. I felt so cozy the entire day.
Anyways, I have to make this post speedy because I have not one but two doctors
appointments today, ugh. So I better get going!

Hello Sunshine

Let me just say that I have ALWAYS wanted a mustard yellow winter coat. I was just
thrilled when I found this one at LuLu*s. Even the silk lining inside is a fun patter
to brighten up those gloomy winter days. I can't believe how cold it has been lately,
yet the trees have not changed colors one bit! Makes my photos look a wee bit funny
when I'm all bundled and the trees behind me are bright green. I am just waiting
to see those beautiful colors!

Anyways, it is Saturday and I couldn't be happier. My dad and I are about to grab lunch,
my choice of where we go. YAY! So I hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well.

KOSHKA

Introducing a new brand that I am wildly obsessed with... KOSHKA! They have so many
unique and quirky pieces, all by indie designers, so naturally I fell in love. This boxy
fair isle-esque top is from there and boy is it cozy. I wore it pretty much all weekend
in between my Halloween outfits (I know, I am weird... the biggest outfit repeater ever),
and got tons of compliments. Anyways, Koshka also has an amazing selection of out-of-this
world socks that I definitely recommend checking out. I am talking zig-zag, geometric shapes, and neons.
I am all about socks, especially unique ones like these. Anyways, I paired the
top with this red cape that I have been dying to pull out and my new Cheap Monday jeans.
