Forest

Remixing this sweater coat, a favorite from last year, into this year's wardrobe. It is
so warm and it almost feels/looks like a blanket. Sometimes I call it my crazy lady
sweater, but I kind of like it that way. And I am totally all about bell sleeves and their
persistence in drawing attention to all my chunky rings. And to top it all of why I love
this article of clothing is the color! I just love the deep forest green tones. Wish I had
more of this color in my closet.

Anyways I am off to pack for my trip to Philly on Sunday! It's going to be a quick
trip but the outfits have to count. More on that to come. Hope you all have a lovely

Wall Art

This is my favorite wall on my favorite street in one of my favorite cities in the entire

world. It's kind of a random wall, but every time I am driving up this hill-y street

and pass this colorful wall, my day is made just a bit better. It must be some silly

sentimental value or something but either way it makes me smile. Anyways I wore this

outfit yesterday without even having to wear a coat! It was undeniably

perfect sweater weather and I definitely enjoyed not having to bundle up for one day.

I love the teeny-tiny pleats on this skirt and the A-line silhouette. Totally my favorite

to pair with tights and a fitted sweater.

Chocolate Cake

Brr! Even in this coat I was quite cold when these photos were taken. I look
so smiley because Laura was taking them and some how she never fails to make
me laugh during photo shoots! So this smile here is a truly genuine one. Anyways,
this is my new go-to coat on freezing cold days like this. I do not wear brown
very much but I find this shade to be easy to work with and that it goes
with a lot in my closet. Plus the colder it gets the more mismatched and
quirky my looks get, which is something that I actually really like.

Well I hope you all have a lovely Saturday! I am off to my favorite bakery
to get something sweet. ♥

Small Town Love

Oh how I love small town charm. I am currently visiting all my friends in the town
where I went to school and I am loving every minute of it. Trees are everywhere, and
it's not covered in concrete and buildings like Dallas. It's so nice to get away every
once in a while. I think every city person can testify for that! Anyways, most of my
ensembles since I have arrived have been similar to this one. Cozy sweaters to keep
warm, and my staple boots that I can wear with just about every single outfit.

Anyways, I am off to get ready for some vintage shopping at Grey Dog Boutique with
my bestie Laura! Best place to shop ever. Hope you all have an amazing day! ♥

Take a Walk on The Wild side

Boy was it cold when these photos were taken! The coldest day that I have felt
so far this season. Luckily I had my coffee to keep me warm. And of course later
in the day I picked up my coat. Silly me, I never check the temperature before I
step outside. Anyways, I wore this simple outfit while looking around shops
downtown yesterday. The outfit itself would have been pretty plain, so I knew
I wanted to add some pattern to it. I found this leopard print blouse to be
perfect with the burgundy sweater. Plus leopard print for me is totally
unexpected. It's fun to venture out sometimes!
