NYFW First Aid Kit with Modellounge

10 February 2012

So the NYFW madness/excitement has officially commenced. Being my first one that I
am here for the entirety of it all, my week is jam-packed and crazy busy! I cannot
wait to blog about all my experiences with you all. So far I have been to the Libertine,
BCBG, and Kaelen shows, and they have all been fantastic. A great way to get through
the busy schedule is with a new place I have discovered, Modellounge . It is literally
a lounge full of serenity in the city, meant for models who are in between castings or
shows during NYFW. I was lucky to check it out the other day and received this amazing
Modellounge NYFW survival kit! It is complete with beauty products, on-the-go bars, and
basic necessities, I can throw into my bag and be covered for basically the whole day.

Anyways, I hope you all are having a lovely NYFW, whether you are in NYC or not.
Tons of the shows are streaming online, so you don't have to be here to get in on the fun.

Sunday Stroll

08 February 2012

These photos are basically the calm before the storm. The NYFW storm, that is!
Spent the day strolling the streets of the East Village with Natalie and Dylana. It
has been so nice to be reunited with my lovely friends! Even though it was freezing
out, we wandered the streets of the city, sort of aimlessly, which is the best way to do
it, I think. Ended the day with some veggie ramen, yummm!

Anyways, I could not be more excited to be here for NYFW, and I absolutely
plan on taking you all on the adventure with me! Gonna document
all the shows and such here on the blog as best as I can. Also, speaking of fashion
week happenings, I wanted to let you all know that I will be hosting a bit of a
style soiree with LuLu's, and if any of you will be in NYC this Friday I would love
for you to join me! Here are the event details:

Hope to see you there, and have a lovely day!

First Day living in NYC

06 February 2012

So apparently, I live in NYC now. I am just beyond enchanted by the city right now and
am just soaking it all in as much as I can. The transition has been going pretty smoothly
and in between getting settled at my new place, I have been exploring the city
with wide eyes. The 5th and 6th photos is the view from my apartment balcony, which
I have been completely obsessed with. If you look closely, you can even see the Empire
State building from my place. Pretty sure I am going to be living like a tourist for the first
month or two, but can you blame me? This city is magical and I want to see it all!

Already got to reunite with my east coast lovelies, and can't wait for NYFW to begin! It's
going to be my second one, however last time I was only here for a few days. Being
here for the whole thing will be wonderful!

I hope you all have a lovely day, and I can't wait to bring you more adventures from the
city!

Off to new adventures

03 February 2012

If you're wondering why the blushing grin on my face, it's because today I am moving
to New York City! I'm going to refrain from sappy reminiscing, because right now I am just way too excited. Of course I'll miss all the people and places I love in the great south, but that's what airplanes are for. Got this fur coat from LuLu's the other day, just in time for the chilly east coast weather.

Next post will be straight from NYC! Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Mine will
be a busy one indeed.

Penguins on my dress

01 February 2012

A dress with penguins all over it? Why not! I have been loving animal printed
things lately, and in addition to this dress, I have a horse-printed one, cat, and
elephant one. They are whimsical, oh so fun, and if you want to elevate the maturity
level, just add a blazer and heels and you are good to go. Next mission is something
with rabbits all over it!

So the packing game continues, however I am almost done! Going to enjoy my last twodays in Texas to the fullest.
Getting Mexican food will be a must. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
