Spring... is that you? Definitely not even close to ready for summer yet, but I have to admit the gorgeous weather we have right now is indeed making me very happy! Spent the day wandering around the East Village (one of my fav areas of the city) and just enjoyed the weather. Busted out my new floral jeans in honor of the spring-like weather. Looking forward to another day similar today!
Hope you all are having a lovely Thursday! Yay for Friday being right around the corner.
One of my favorite places to wander around in NYC is of course SoHo. The cobble stone roads and shops galore are just a few things that I love about it. The area is especially magical in the evening, which is my favorite time to be there. Spent this particular night hanging out with Claire and Natalie just strolling streets. I wore this super comfy poncho-like sweater with leather shorts for a cozy/chic look. After our time in SoHo we went to Chinatown where I had AMAZING spicy curry noodles. Will definitely be heading back there again soon.
Here is one of my favorite color combos: Camel and red! To me it is a classic look that never quite really goes out of style and that I never will get sick of. I've been wearing this bag and jacket pretty much involuntarily this whole week. I threw on this beanie in the cold and rainy NYC weather we have been having the past few days. As much as I do love gloomy weather I am definitely ready for a little bit of sunshine and warmer weather. Keyword a 'little' bit.
Anyways, I hope you all are having a fantastic weekend!
I am so happy to share you all a fun project I did with the lovely folks over at ModCloth. As a new-comer to NYC, of course I am always adventuring around the city to find cool places to hang/eat/shop. ModCloth asked me if I could do a 'travel bug' post for their blog, sharing my new favorite places in the city. I was thrilled to do it, and would love for you all to check out the full post here!
