Pastels + Florals

This blouse is one of the first articles of clothing I have owned in a while that is a shade
of purple. Of course it hardly counts, as it is the most muted shade of lavander, but hooray
anyways for new adventures in fashion! In true spirit of spring, I busted out all my pastels
and these trusty floral pants for a fun look. Wearing three different pastel colors definitely
ensued the 'you look like you're ready for Easter' comments, but I don't care because I am
totally in love with these colors!

Sunny in SoHo

As Spring has typically has it, the weather is very indecisive. One day is freezing and the
next is a complete beauty. On this particular one the sun came out to play, rendering my
coat useless and making me a happy girl. I had a few meetings in SoHo and afterwards just
walked around and enjoyed the gorgeous streets. SoHo is seriously the best for people watching!
Anyways, I paired this pink top with this burgundy skirt... I am such a fan of tonal dressing
these days! Threw on these creeper-esque oxfords and hopped out the door. Oh and after
a few washes, the lightness of my hair has totally come out a bit. Almost makes me want to
experiment with other colors come summer time.

City Streets

Oh how I love wandering aimlessly around New York City. As a new-comer, it is basically a daily
adventure. You never know what pretty street you may run into, or what amazing coffee shop has just been waiting for you to visit. Always wide-eyed when I step out the door, I am constantly inspired by what this city has to offer. Currently listening to Bob Dylan tunes about rambling about NYC and feeling quite happy to live here! These photos were taken on a pretty street near my apartment that I stumbled on. Full of quaint brownstones, I just had to stop and appreciate it. Anyways, I wore this super neutral-toned outfit with a pop of color in the accessories. Gotta throw some color in there, I always think!
