Snow White

Is it just me, or has Spring officially arrived on the East Coast? Actually in my opinion it feels a bit like Summer is quickly creeping in on us disguised as Spring. Yes I remember that humid embrace and the habits of my hair in this weather I know too well.

Pretty soon black jeans like these will be rendered obsolete and high-waisted cut-offs will become a staple. Who knows, maybe I will even get a tan this summer! Ah, who am I kidding, that never happens. Might as well continue pretending to be Snow White!

Spring Awakening

I am totally loving this floral maxi dress by For Love And Liberty from PBJ shop! It is so flowy and the print just screams summer. Definitely a nice change from being confined in

tights and layers. I paired it with these simple black booties and accessorized it with bracelets  galore and one of my favorite hats. I am all about jazzing up dresses with little details that make the outfit unique!

Anyways, I have been so busy here in NYC working/having fun in the city. That's how I like it though. Never a dull moment for me! Hope you all have a lovely Monday.

Staples

This denim jacket has totally been a staple in my closet lately! Whether I am pairing it with  a femme dress or a rugged rocker tee, the denim jacket always seems to fit. Plus it is totally perfect for the spring to summer transition and the indecisive New York City 

weather. Oh and another staple is this Rebecca Minkoff bag that I snagged from the sample sale the other day. It was such madness in there but totally worth it for this satchel.

Anyways, it is Friday and one of my dear friends from Philly is coming to visit and I could not be more happy. Hope you all have a good one!

Evening Haze

Roaming around the city streets with ice cream in hand and the sun setting behind me. I cannot wait for more warm days like this.

5 Things That Make Me Happy

1.) My room. Still tweaking it to make it completely my own and the newest additions are this

ruffley comforter and floral pillow cases.

2.) This song. Why Do You Treat Me Like You Do by Donovan . I have seriously been searching for this song for ages. The tune was in my head but the words couldn't seem to form. This morning Christina played a cover of this song by SoKo so at last I have found it! Go listen to it if you like pretty folk songs.

3.) NOODLES! I am noodles obsessed. The spicier the better.

4.) The city in the rain. As much as everyone complains about it, I find  something soothing about a gloomy day in the city. Whether I am indoors with a book or trudging along the city dodging puddles there is something about it that leaves me at peace.

5.) TUMBLR . So I am indeed tumbling again and have really been enjoying cataloguing my current inspirations. Fashion, music, quotes, photography can all be found on my Tumblr. Also I added the 'ask' feature, so go ahead. Ask me anything!
