Outfit // At The Supermarket

One of my favorite things about the summer is most definitely the vast selection of ripe colorful fruit that you can find on almost every corner of the city. You can often find me with a delicious peach in hand, one of my favorite snacks to cool down with. I couldn't resist taking a few photos here of the fruit rainbow. Color inspiration can be found anywhere and everywhere if you are looking out for it! Anyways, I threw on this simple outfit to stay comfortable while running all my errands. A basic top with a fun printed skirt is a great look to turn to when on the go. Of course I paired it with my favorite  Pink & Pepper loafers, a definite staple of mine. Outfit // City Garden

Constantly being surrounded by the buildings and concrete that makes up this lovely place called New York City can at times be quite over-whelming. With my roots being from the beautiful country side of the southern states, I find comfort in the trees and flowers that line certain streets of the city. That among the parks are like a little escape/piece of home for my in the city. If you look hard enough you can find beauty in everything. Words to live by, in my opinion.

Outfit // Polka Dot Maxi

Maxi dresses are one of my favorite pieces to frolic in over the summer. Put some polka dots on it and I can hardly resist it. Here I am wearing a Mink Pink number from one of my favorite  boutiques, Hallelu. I definitely love an easy breezy look like this to make summer dressing that much easier. Throw on this dress and I am out the door.

Tasty Treats // Van Leeuwen Ice Cream NYC

If you are ever roaming around the streets of NYC and spot that pastel yellow Ice cream truck, you have come across Van Leeuwen's. With flavors like salted caramel bourbon, and Tahitian vanilla, it is clearly obvious why this has become one of my favorite ice cream stops in the city! Here I tried the dark chocolate chip mint which was seriously amazing! Can't wait to try more flavors this summer.

You'll have to excuse me for my mini-hiatus. Things have gotten quite busy here in the city and on top of everything, my lovely boyfriend is in town visiting! I am enjoying every minute I get to spend with him. Today will be spent adventuring around the city together, starting off with lunch in the park. Took these photos a few days ago in the scorching heat. Minimal clothing is all I can stand these days, so I have been turning to dainty bustier crop tops with high-waisted shorts. Perfect summer uniform.
