Outfit // Red Accents

It's seriously a mystery to me as to when red became one of my favorite colors to wear. In all honesty, it is a pretty obnoxious color and typically I tend to stay away from shades like that. However, lately I have been drawn to anything red. Lipstick, dresses or apparently architecture, it has become one of my staples.

Anyways, I have done a bit of re-vamping on the blog and have a new header thanks to my dear friend Justin. I feel so refreshed and clean! What do you guys think?

NYC Eats // Ciao For Now

The other day I went to an amazing cafe in the East Village called Ciao For Now. Of course

the decor had me instantly in love with the place and once I spotted the display of sweet

treats I was sold. At the time I only had a coffee and vanilla cupcake, however I cannot wait 

to go back for brunch sometime for their almond brioche french toast. Sounds way too good to

pass up!

Outfit // Picking Flowers

A favorite thing about the streets of NYC for me is definitely the plethora of flower vendors that  populate almost every corner. Christina and I practically always have bouquets here and there in our apartment. Handpicking them and making my own arrangements is definitely a fun past-time. It's the simple things in life that make me happy. Anyways about the outfit: I have always been a fan of conversational prints so when I saw this dress I knew I had to have it! Plus, red has quickly become one of my favorite colors, especially in a rich tone like this. I paired it with my new Coach bag, from their new Legacy collection! They are  reviving their all of their classic pieces and I could not be happier.

Threadflip // Shop My Closet

Oufit // Pirate's Wench

Say hello to my absolute favorite new booties. Any type of a heel is practically impossible when getting from point A to point B in the city, however these boots are so comfortable! Seriously such a win in my book. I've been stomping all around the city in these babies, pairing them with anything from distressed short shorts to dainty dresses. Cannot wait to transition these Matt Bernson kicks into my fall wardrobe.
