Comfy Cozy

05 December 2012

One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is hang out in Washington Square park. These photos were taken this past weekend on a beautiful fall day, where I hardly needed a coat. Some flannel and chunky knits was just perfect to get by and stay warm. I swear I have become some sort of expert in dressing for comfort dressing.

Hope you all are having a lovely week so far!

With a little help from my friends...

04 December 2012

It is completely and 100% true. I get by with a little help from my friends. What I would do without these two I do not know! You could say they are a bit of my family here in the city. No matter what I can always rely on Christina and Justin to make my day better, laugh for hours, run errands around the city, or just be plain silly. I love them both to pieces and am beyond thankful for such great friends!

Hope you all are having a lovely Tuesday!

Winter Coat

03 December 2012

In my opinion, it is quite important for one to have a cherished  coat for every winter season. When it is below freezing outside, at least you will have one thing to look forward to: busting out that beautiful winter coat! Might sound silly, but trust me. On those gloomy days after the holidays you will definitely appreciate it.

Anyway, we have finally entered the month of December. Seriously, where does the time go? Hope you all have a great start to your week.

Lately...

02 December 2012

Lately I have been....

1.) Still obsessing with Eleanor. The novelty of having a cat is not even close to wearing off.
2.) Checking out my favorite vintage shops in the East Village, looking for Christmas presents.
3.) Discovering the greatness of shellac manicures. Never going back to regular polish at the salon again.
4.) Drinking nutella hot chocolate non-stop.
5.) Hitting up one of my favorite cafe's in the city, The Grey Dog. Their home-made granola is the best.
6.) Walking through Washington Square park, despite the freezing weather.
7.) Admiring holiday-inspired cakes and getting inspiration.
8.) Feeling the Christmas spirit on nearly every block. NYC really does it up for the holidays.
9.) Bundling up so much that I often feel like a little roly poly.

Hope you all had a fantastic week!
