Summers in The City

In my book, summers in New York City are all about those delicious Mr.Softee ice cream cones. In the midst of the summer, you can't really even get a block away without it already melting. I often can't resist getting a cone anytime I walk past one of the trucks. Problems for my waistline but happiness for my taste buds.

Two gals from texas

Had the most wonderful weekend with my best friend from Texas, Kelley. Isn't she adorable?! She came to visit me for the week and boy have we been having a great time. Literally not a dull moment since she arrived. Here we were treasure-hunting at the Brooklyn Flea which is currently located in Williamsburg right on the water. The view of Manhattan is gorgeous so of course we couldn't resist taking photos.
