Oh my was today a successful shopping day! I found treasures
at my favorite thrift stores, like this dress & bag, and much
more that I know will be greatly cherished this fall. Finds
include velvet, see-through lace, pleats and dots! I cannot
wait to show them to you all. And... I got ever-so-lucky
to find these Miu Miu knock-offs at Forever 21 today! Obviously
fakes or not, this college student couldn't be happier.
Ps- in a month I turn 22 and I am totally freaking out. How does
time go by so fast? That is all. Have a lovely weekend!

I know, time is so fast! I can't believe in 2 weeks I'll be finished classes!! I still remember just starting my course like yesterday... but it was 2 years ago really.

Other than 27 and 28, 22 was my best year in my twenties (I'm still 28, and it gets better as I get older). I had lots of fun, danced most of my year away, met some of my best friends ever, and met the love of my life.
It was a year before I had to "grow up and get real", before I moved away from my hometown and got a real job, got serious about finishing my degree while I worked, had to have my own health care... etc.
It was spend shopping endlessly, dancing, eating out, exploring Southern California, loving hard and getting my heart broken and then repaired, learning my limits and then crossing them over and over, laughing lots, writing lots, and learning lots.
It was a great age for me. Nothing to freak out about.
Honestly, the older I get, the better my life is. I'm maturing, growing into myself, and figuring things out. I have a great family, great husband and a great life. I find, the more I live, the more I know, and I can't wait to see what comes next.
My advice to you: embrace getting older, more sophisticated, more mature, and wiser. It's a beautiful thing!
