I love how New York City completely transforms on the weekend. If you look closely you'll notice that everyone's step is just a bit slower, laughs are a bit louder, and although the streets are as crowded as ever there is some sort of serenity that takes over. On this particular day, Justin and I headed over to Union Square where we browsed the farmer's market. Of course I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful array of flowers that were there. I can't help it, I am always flower obsessed! As the days are warming up, my vast collection of floral dresses have been coming out to play and I couldn't be more happy. My first summer in the city has already been a magical one so far.

I have been so stoked to share with you all a little feature I did with Refinery 29 x Guess, celebrating 30 sexy years of Guess jeans! I was honored to be a part of it and had so much fun reviving the
iconic vintage Guess pieces.

I always have a habit of wearing really bright colors on gloomy days, so yesterday was definitely no different. It was rainy basically all day, but in between the showers I was able to sneak in these photos. Waiting for the sun to come out and play in the city
again but for now I am enjoying reading books and drinking coffee inside of my cozy apartment.
Hope you all have a lovely Friday!

Ice cream, high-waisted shorts, fruit, and tanks. All signs point to the fact that
summer is near! I always find myself dancing around the house listening some
Motown track or another in my favorite vintage dresses this time of year. Something
about the weather makes me cheery and hardly able to stand still! I made a little
playlist for you all of my favorite songs from the 1920's to the 1960's. Some of the
best decades if you ask me. Enjoy!
1.) Bruce Channel- Hey Baby!
2.) The Chiffons- He's So Fine
3.) Martha & The Vandellas - Heatwave
4.) Ben E. King & The Drifters- This Magic Moment
5.) Billie Holiday- Can't Help Lovin Dat Man
6.) Nat King Cole- Smile
7.) Isham Jones- It Had To Be You
8.) The Ronnettes- Be My Baby
9.) The Shirelles - Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
10.) Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - You Really Got a Hold on Me
11.) Danny & The Juniors- At The Hop
12.) The Five Satins - In The Still of The Night
13.) The Temptations - Since I Lost My Baby

Sunny days in SoHo are truly one of my favorite things in New York City. And this day was particular great because I got to team up some awesome designers that will be part of a new event in NYC, the Spanish SoHo Mile. Similar to Fashion's Night Out, the
event will be held on May 30th, and will basically be a night of shopping at amazing Spanish-based shops in SoHo. If you will be in the area, I totally suggest you stop by and experience
all the fun! Above I am wearing Spanish designers from head to toe; Mango, Camper, and Tierra. Makes me want to hop right on a plane to Barcelona!

Oh wow was this weekend beautiful! Spent all day outdoors with friends, just wandering the city. Went everywhere from uptown to downtown to Brooklyn and enjoyed every second of it.
Yesterday Christina and I adventured around our neighborhood where we found this delicious boba tea shop. Seriously so excited that I discovered it because my boba cravings happen quite often. Anyways, I have been feeling super feminine lately, a style
that always feels completely natural to me. Paired this lace-collar blouse with ditzy floral skirt and pranced about the city ! Outfits like this always make my day a bit more

Oh me, oh my! This past week sure has been a busy one. Between, work, appointments, and parties, I accidentally got a little bit behing on the old blog. Anyways, the crazy busy week is over and things in my life have finally settled down for a bit, so I vow to become a better blogger this week! And that means responding to your lovely comments as well. I truly do read them all and always appreciate all the feedback! Anyways, this day was one of the funnest ones I have had in NYC yet. During the day I spent it at the BarIII penthouse BBQ, which is a cool contemporary brand sold at Macy's. They showered me and my friends Nadia, Claire and Natalie with treats including veggie sliders and cake push-up pops. It was quite a wonderful afternoon!
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
