Flashes of Style x Ted Baker Shopping Event

06 May 2014

Hello friends! We all know I am addicted to the Little White Dress (LWD), so when I saw this one with the pearl detailing, I was instantly in love. I am a firm believer that you can never have too much of your go-to, absolute favorite piece. If you take a peak into my closet, you'll find white dresses in all textures, fabrics, silhouettes and styles. I saw this one from Ted Baker and just couldn't resist.

With that being said, I am so excited to announce my collaboration with Ted Baker, where I am hosting their in-store shopping event here in NYC, celebrating their SS14 collection.

Festival Style, featuring Forever 21

11 April 2014

So sad that I am not attending the Coachella festivities this year, however I decided to bring the style here to the city! New York has been beautiful these days and I cannot be more excited! The sun is out and that alone makes me smile. Anyway, this look features pieces from forever 21 that I will be rocking all summer long. I am a sucker for a cheeky graphic tee!

Hope you all are having a fantastic Friday!

Channeling Spring

07 April 2014

Okay so it's spring. Where is the sunshine and warmth, NYC?! Since it is clearly not appropriate for cut-offs and crop-tops, I channeled a bit of spring by wearing florals in my outfit. Groundbreaking, I know haha. I will never get sick of florals though, ever. I am always cheery and happy when I put a floral dress on, no matter what.

Anyway, I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!

All Bundled

13 December 2013

Oh boy is it getting quite cold here in NYC. It is much easier to ignore the biting cold however, since the city is decked out in holiday happiness. Every corner you turn, there are twinkly lights, or if you are lucky Christmas tree-lined streets with that wonderful pine smell. I am rocking all my holiday-inspired wardrobe while I can, like this reindeer scarf... so obsessed!

Anyway, hope you all are having a lovely Friday, and enjoy your weekend!

Urban Cowboy

13 February 2013

It's a very rare occasion that I am wearing black, but pair some lace  on a pretty LBD and I am sold. I've been very south-west inspired these days, rocking boots and hats just about every single day. Sometimes its fun to feel like an urban cowboy stomping around the city streets.

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Blankets of Snow

11 February 2013

As a native Texan gal, snow will forever be magical and always leave me enchanted. This past weekend we were hit with a blizzard here in NYC, making me want to do nothing but drink hot coffees and hang out with friends in various apartments in my neighborhood. On the night of the blizzard we walked a few blocks away to a cozy gathering of friends in town for NYFW. In the middle of the night we walked back to our place in a surreal New York City scene. The streets were covered in blankets of powdery glitter, vacant of cars... just people wandering around in its beauty. Of course the next morning the city had already cleaned it up in the streets ( as pictured above), but for a minute there, NYC was a true winter wonderland.

Anyway, hope you all had a lovely weekend and great start to your week!
