Went on a spur-of-the-moment evening adventure to Coney Island the other night. We rode The Cyclone, aka the oldest roller coaster in America, roamed around the boardwalk, and of course ate a hot dog at Nathan's. Coney is such an odd yet picturesque place... couldn't help but snap a few photos.

I have only been to Coney Island during the day but never at nighttime. Will try to make a point of doing so next summer.

You're very brave riding "The Cyclone" roller coaster at Coney Island! I was there and chickened out of riding it many years ago kicking myself later because I wasn't brave enough. The two women I was there with went on it (one kept her eyes shut). It looked so rickety! I did love the visit to Coney Island though. I love amusement parks - and I love the photo of you with the ferris wheel in the background. I find those a bit scary too - but fun.
