Believe it or not, these photos were taken in Texas! It's been snowy/icy here nonstop. Yesterday when I shot this look was the first day of sunshine I had seen in nearly two weeks! So happy next week is supposed to be all sunshine and weather in the 70's. I am realizing how much I talk about weather in relation to clothing on this blog... that really needs to stop, haha. Anyway I've been meaning to share this cute lil dress with you all for a while. I am a sucker for blouses/dresses with a matching collar and cuff... especially in velvet! Also I have been in search of the perfect black boater hat and this one by Lack of Color totally fits the bill. I get so many compliments on it! I'm so picky when it comes to hats and really love the quality of their hats. Plus the pricing is totally reasonable for how well-made the hats are!

Yessss I love this dress paired with the hat and boots! Some friends of mine live in Texas and I couldn't believe they actually got snow. Here in Kentucky we got 17 inches of snow yesterday- which never, ever happens. It's been an unusual winter, that's for sure. Enjoy the 70 degree weather next week!
