Lots of Layers

04 February 2011

I call this look "Find-whatever-you-can-in-your-closet-and-throw-
it-together". Just kidding, but really that is basically what I did
here. In the winter time, it can be so easy to retreat back to the
same trusty sweater/coat, but I find it best to play with different
layers and put new things together everyday. I am quite certain
that in all of our closets, we have thousands of different winter
outfits that can be created by different combinations and layers.
Because of this very reason, I am on a little shopping ban.
Plus, I really need to save for my summer in Philadelphia!

Oh and for the record, today is my fourth day off of school.
Best week ever!

Really cute, I love your make-up and the print on your skirt. Agree that there's so many winter-combinations possible. I have plenty of stuff, but shopping is just so much fun! At least I have a job now: less time for shopping + more money to spend= less guilt when you have to live on a diet of 30-cent noodles for the last days of the month.

Lovely wintery photos. Your dark hair really stands out with the snowy background.
Why don't we have days off for bad gales. It's so windy here and it messes up my hair, I still have to go to work though :)

This is a great outfit Bonnie! Haha, outfits where I feel like I just threw on everything in my closet are my faves. Although, I'm not sure how many winter outfits my wardrobe can make. I have ample summer dresses, and very few things that are practical for a short Texas winter.

Not only is this incredibly warm and chic, but it still speaks for the hope of spring just around the corner. Which, after the 18" that sits on the ground here in Detroit, I really need.

I can take a page out of this book and really use it for inspiration right about now.

There's also need of time to take the most benefit from our wardrobes, and obviously, space!! Most of the times I discover unused things in the very bottom of my closets because they were hidden by other clothes : (
BTW, you look adorable as usual, I'm embarassed to use a different definition every single comment I leave here, but you're like a cupcake too cute to be eaten xD
