Hello Philadelphia!

29 May 2011

Greetings from Philadelphia! Let me just say I already love this
city. We all know I love vintage clothing so naturally I would love a super
old city. The buildings are just so beautiful and in this particular street they
were charming as well. Anyways, my first day in the city was pretty crazy.
Basically I had an awful experience with the apartment I had so I am
on the search again. I was freaking out a bit yesterday but I think I woke up
on the right side of the bed today and I am staying positive. I met up with Dylana
from Color Me Nana yesterday for a bit and she was sooo sweet! She showed me around a few
lovely neighborhoods and kind of gave me piece of mind for my apartmentsearch.
Totally thankful for that and can't wait to hang out with this girl more!

PS- my relationship with heels might as well be over. With all the walking I'm going
to be doing in this city it will be super difficult. But I'd totally take walking everywhere
than driving in heels any day. I'll get used to it though :)

You can find a really cute tunic dress collection online with Joe Browns. This fashion retailer has a truly individual style. Have a great day!

I wish you lots of luck in finding a good apartment. Philadelphia looks like an amazing city, and I can't wait to see your outfit photos taken throughout the city.

Amazing skirt. I really want a skirt like that, but vintage ones are so hard to find, and AA ones are expensive. I might have to splurge though.

Aw, welcome to Philadelphia! I think you're going to love this city, especially the two H&Ms located in Rittenhouse literally about 2 blocks from each other. When I would visit my ex in Philly, I learned the hard way that flats are the only way to go when traipsing around. Good luck with the apartment search!

Good luck with the apartment search; I'm so jealous that you're in Philadelphia; I'm from twenty minutes outside the city, and I miss it terribly while I'm away at school. When you have some time, make sure to go to Capogiro's Artisan Gelato and the Di Bruno Brothers (they're both on Google). They're amazing!
