artists have played. Pretty cool too because my uncles used to play here in the 70's.

Food trucks/trailers are literally everywhere in Austin, and I cannot get enough of 'em!
Visited one of my favorite shops called Uncommon Objects. Store name is pretty
self-explanatory. They have the craziest stuff here.

Giant aloe vera plants are all around the town and I for some reason find
them fascinating!
Although I have been to Austin several times in my life (I have TONS of family there),
every time I go I feel like a bit of a tourist. There is just so much to see, and new
shops and such are always popping up every time I go. It was a super laid-back
weekend and here are a few photos that captured my trip! Sums it up basically.
If you haven't been here yet, I definitely suggest you make the trip :)

Aw, I have family in Austin too! I absolutely love it there. If it wasn't so hot all the time I'd love to live there. These photos are so great, and I'm so into your dress in the first outfit!
I am loving the vintage feel of these photos!! That is so cool that your uncles played at that record store! (loving the coffee mug, gotta love the london underground...I went through the Waterloo station a few times, haha)

i just visited austin for the first time this year and i was so so happy and surprised! i even have a picture at the same cupcake truck (and i ate a red velvet cupcake from there!) it was SUCH a neat place. like nowhere else!!

We have something like the uncommon shop here too, except its called The Junk Store. I love how its always stuffed with interesting objects. :)
After seeing your post I definitely must pay a visit to Austin! I lived in Texas for a while but never been to Austin, the music store is amazing, and how cute is that food truck!
